Don`t forget that Clinton also expanded the US/Israeli military relationship.
As for Oslo, Clinton had nothing to do with that. It was negotiated through the Norwegians. When the agreement came, it caught the Clinton administration off-guard because they thought the negotiations with the PA were going nowhere. Nonetheless, both Israel and Norway wanted the US to take credit because that was the only way the agreement would be accepted in the Arab world.
