The warning signs have been there for years. Settlers and far-right extremists have been acting with impunity and violence against those who disagree with them, not to mention clear contempt for the state and the principles on which it was founded, for too long. As happened with Rabin, we will hear the shallow and vile statements from the sorry, spineless excuses from our leaders about isolated bad apples, abberations from the the norm. In reality, this is but the tip of the ice-burg. The greatest threat to Israel is not the Palestinians, Iran, or the `Arab world` but these elements within. If we continue on the same path of political and judicial blindness to the actions and politics of these people and do not confront them now, the country will disintegrate.

The longer it is left, the worse it will become.
