Ivar, have you noticed that neither Ahmedinijad nor Nasrallah have ever talked about Israel`s borders? Not 1967, nor 1948? Have you noticed that neither have showed any willingness to accept a state of Israel at peace with the Palestinians in a two state solution? Have you noticed that they cannot even pronounce the name "Israel" but refer to it as the Zionist regime and other epithets to avoid doing so? What makes you think that Israel`s accepting the Saudi plan will satisfy them, when they are not even interested in accepting Israel`s existence as a Jewish state at all?
Stop kidding yourself. Perhaps the Saudi initiative is a good one, but it will never satisfy Ahmedinijad or the other Iranian proxies Hamas and Hezballah. |
