Israeli civil jurisdiction ends at the Green Line; you take one step beyond and you are under the MILITARY jurisdiction of the IDF Commander in the West Bank. The one and only attempt by Israel to extend its sovereignty over the Green Line is in Jerusalem, PETER SM. It makes no such claim anywhere else i.e. ISRAEL itself admits that ISRAEL ends at the Green Line. That is *wants* more- and demands that Abbas give it more - is immaterial i.e. Abbas refuses that demand, and so nothing over the Green Line is in any sense already "in Israel". It isn`t, and that Israel *wants* it to be is about as relevent as claiming that if you *want* to be the King of Londinium and wear a shiny hat then you are entitled to insist that you are already King PETER the Ignorant. |
