| Jerome R. Corse`s book is accurately described as a `polemic`. The author freely admits he wrote the book in order to dissuade people from voting for Obama. He is an ultra conservative writer who defends the Vietnam War and excoriates the anti-war movement and favors a much tougher line on Iran. His book is no more than propaganda and is chock full of outright lies and half truths. The point is not in the scholarly nature of the book but merely that if enough innuendo can be smeared about Obama-he WILL lose votes, since most reading the book are going to be a shilling short of a pound in any case, unable or unwilling to read it critically. Just so as to let people know WHAT the book really is about. |
