| Rant all you want about the Green Line not being a national border, and you are doing nothing but miss the point, Jeff. The illegality of building colonies in the West Bank is anchored on the fact that under int`l law you can`t build colonies on territory that you hold under belligerent occupation. The issue is purely TERRITORY, Jeff. Q: Is the WB under Israeli occupation? A: Yes, it is. QED. Israeli colonies built in the WB are illegal. Q: Does the illegality disappear *if* that territory comes under Israeli sovereignty? A: Yes, it does. Q: Has that happened yet? A: No, it hasn`t. Q: So are those colonies illegal? A: Yes, they are. |
