To help Mr. Ahmadinejad build a better message to the american people it might help for him to make relate a more historical understaniding of the palistinian perspective of the zionist movement and the creation of the isreali state. if he really seeks to advance the palestinian cause in the U.S. he might first like to draw a picturee of how and why the isrealis came to displace the palestinians in the first place. i do not believe most americans can understand or why how the palestinians feel. i am not an expert on the subject but i read a book on the peace processs by dennis ross.
the book describes the perspective of the arabs, isrealis and the palestinians. if he could look in americann history for paralells between the arab and palestine narrative. they exist and would do much to help americans understand why compromise is neccesary on both sides and keep pressure on both parties to not engage in activities that compromise th prospects of those compromises. |
