| The land owners borrowed against artificially inflated land values to buy up more land, then when the bottom falls out America has to line up to pay the fiefs their tithe. Too many of these new land lords are not even Americans, but American dollars will pour in to their pockets to cover the debt they owe to themselves. A lot of this money and a lot of this land ownership, will wind up in places like China and Saudi Arabia. Most people didn`t want this bailout to happen, but the Officials just pushed it through anyway. |
