| ...the diference between "secularism" and "fundamentalism" is whether you react to a perceived inconvenience with "a shake of the head/raising your eyebrows" or whether you react with the "fist". And I`m afraid at least when it comes to the grip of religious fundamentalism on their society, the Israel and the Iran of 2008 are (much) closer to each other, than both sides would probably like to admit.... |
