| Although the oil producing nations sell oil, they are not the only ones dependent on oil. There are many large and influential industries that have a stake in keeping things as they are. These industries support the politicians and this stifles progress. Bio fuels, fuel cells, hybrid engines, electric engines, etc have all been with us for years, yet the gas guzzling vehicle is still the principal transportation of the world. A seed pop will not change this. |
