One would think that it would be rather hard for Mossad to get this close to Nasrallah, who seems to spend his entire life underground like a gopher. If agents were that close, why not just call in the coordinates for a small smart bomb, and get the job done right? Much more likely, if the poison story is even true, a power play within his close circle.
