| The campaign has reached the point where the lunatics are running the asylum. One ding-a-ling McCain volunteer in Pittsburg mutilated herself, told the police she had been assaulted, robbed and raped, by a black Obama supporter. She eventually confessed to making it all up. Fox news leaped upon the story, only to have it blow up in their face. All the right has left is to lie and smear. This has always worked in the past. Did not a campaign of lies and smears beat John McCain in the 2000 race? It seems the Swift Boat has sunk. Right now the worst damage to McCain is being done by his loony tune supporters and their efforts to help him. |
