I certainly cannot talk for Obama`s campaign. I was trained by AIPAC in the 70`s on how to confront the opposition, which at the time was the the American left, the PLO and various 3rd world students. One thing we did not do was to give an unnecessary stage to the opposition.
The Republican Party seems to have taken a lesson from the PLO or maybe Dr.Paul Joseph Goebbels by repeating nonsense so many times that people begin to believe it. It makes no sense to stand before a practiced charismatic speaker who spouts nonsense that can not be debated because it bears no semblance of truth. |
