| "I beleive that this General and all the top Brass in America,know pratically nothing about Israel`s capabilities." I`m sure the Pentagon knows EVERYTHING about Israel`s capabilities, David. It know EXACTLY how many planes it has, and of what type. It knows EXACTLY how many tanker planes Israel has. It knows EXACTLY how many bunker busters it has, and the phenomenal difficulty of using these to destroy the heavily protected underground chambers at Natanz. I am equally sure that the Pentagon has worked out its exact strategy for turning back Israeli bombers if they try to overfly Iraq, the only viable route. The only option for Israel would be to use its nuclear weapons on Iran, and the consequences of this are so dangerous, and so unpredictable that any rational Israeli leadership would rule it out at once. For Jews to be the first to use nuclear weapons since 1945, and without provocation, would be an unimaginable calamity for Israel and for Jews in the Diaspora. |
