| When the CIA categorizes governments, one of the criteria is whether there is an orderly and scheduled transfer of power from one leader to the next in a regularly scheduled election interval. Israel fails this criteria, and if it were any other nation in the world, the CIA would categorize Israel as a "Failed Democratic State". |
