Avi Issacharoff, Haaretz Correspondent, Haaretz Service and News Agencies: Livni slams 'flagrant violation' of truce as Qassams hit western Negev
Talkback
Title:An answer to Philip
Name:Golani
City: State: Israel
Philip you really do need to get out of Herzliya and see the "Real" Israel and move out of the ultra rich, ultra left circles of trendy Tel Aviv. First of all I do not think that Livni would of been a party to the decision to destroy the Gaza tunnel. And even if she was I do not think that it was in the interests of the ruling party but rather in the interests of preventing another cross border raid and kidnapping. But you cannot understand this action because it does not fit in with your leftist, spineless, appeasement politics. We may have had a few months of quiet but how has this helped Gilad Shalit (Remember Him) sitting two years in a dark hole in Gaza. I feel sure that the people living around Gaza agree 100% with this action as they (the real Israelis) would not want to see another young soldier abducted even if it means the end of the so called cease fire. Think about this the next time you are drinking your caffe latte in Herzliya.
