American pundits still wedded to the paranoid mindset of "War on Terror" and "Security" have already expressed their hope that Obama will NOT follow through on his expressed willingness to "talk" to Ahmadinejad, and others similarly opposed to the status quo (Bush) policies of America and her client, occupationis Israel.
Ridicule for opposers of the "security" establishment is the chief weapon of entrenched paranoia against clear-sighted rationality which admits our common humanity, refusing to demonize those with whom we differ. In other words, that negotiation is better than miltary confrontation, Israel`s paranoid knee-jerk military disease which she infected trhough her US neocon admirers to US policy makers.
Yes indeed, Obama has opened the eyes of the world to our common humanity, transcending race, religion, and nationality: a lesson for Israel. |
