Things were quiet until Israel decided to enter Gaza over a tunnel they showed with circles and arrows, and a description of where it started, and where it came out and that it was 245 meters long.
Israel broke the ceasefire instead of mounting a covert surveillance operation and capturing the militants as they came out of the tunnel. As I wrote before, they could have filmed the whole thing, and presented proof to the world that Gaza militants were up to no good.
Israel squandered such an opportunity and instead lapsed right back into tit for tat violence. A ridiculously short-sighted and bone-headed move. |
