| We do not even see many people talk bravely these days, and there even is not a war in Europe. Bravery is not the strongest point of the human animal. Many people think they are `free` when they simply behave as they please, and fight religion, but to be really free means having the guts to tell the truth. And following the truth that is what religion really is about. We may be unhappy about how the Jews relate to the Palestinians in Israel, but after all what is the most important for us, Europeans is recognise the truth. "Only the truth can set us free", says the brilliant Belgian artist Delphine Boel (daughter of the king) and she is right. We should focus on the truth, and not sweep it under the rug on false pretextes, such us: "Yes, but ...", and let some lame excuse follow. We have seen that too many times. We are all human beings, all have the same problems with being human. We should focus on trying to understand each other. |
