I am a 54 yo CAtholic though I stopped Attending Mass 3 years ago. The Pope has a one time opportunity to settle things and move forward. I think he should forget the 50th anniversary and open up the books and let the world see. Second, the museum is right, the question is contreversial and will be until the answers come through. And finally, if Latin is supposed to be so exact, then change the wording and make it so. Is it a wish that the Jews accept Jesus or not? Of course it is, so say so.
There is no need to rush this, becuase thinking of the future, this could be a great thing to bring Caholics and Jews closer to a deeper understanding of each other. God willing. |
