Don`t waste your breath thinking about it. This business of making certain people into saints is no more serious than the Flat Earth Society. If you don`t belong to their church, if you don`t believe that G-d cares about the pope`s pronouncements then expend your energy on something that matters. The issue of the beatification of Pius XII is an irrelevance. They can name Hitler or a dog as a saint - will it change anything? I find it very hard to understand people getting upset about this.
