This is an occupation, and the people the IDF are assassinating are people who are resisting that occupation. Read this article again, IW, because it gets it pretty much right. And what it gets - and you don`t - it this: 1) IF the IDF follows all the procedures that the court has identified THEN the killing of a Palestinian is a "targetted assassination" **BUT** 2) IF the IDF ignores those procedures identified by the court THEN it is acting as a Death Squad, and the killing of a Palestinian is a "murder". Pretty simple, really, so I don`t know why the IDF even needs the court to point out the obvious. |
