| While some dither about whether the muderers in Mumbai were targetting Jews or Israelis, we have no evidence whatsoever that those who shot Indians, Australians, Britons, Japanese and others in cold blood were making such fine distinctions. Terrorists will say whatever is convenient to justify their murderous mayhem- These terorists used religious language. Those who try to parse their actions into political and religious terms are vain in their attempt. Calling yourself Jewish, rather than Israeli - or vice versa, will make these folks no less willing to kill you and no more moral for trying to do so. India was right not to negotiate with these terrorists and to move only to neutralize them. The only shame is that India`s police was caught unprepared. |
