That was 40 years ago, and 40 years ago the Palestinians considered that Israel was nothing *but* an occupying force, because the Palestinians considered that Israel was an illegal imposition upon their land. They do not hold that view any more, IW; only the Israeli apologists like yourself still cling to that outmoded view, because clinging to it helps to justify Israel`s own expansionist policies. Even Hamas are willing to accept Israel within the 1967 boundaries, but they are resisting - yes IW, resistance - any attempt by Israel to expand itself even an inch beyond those lines. Even Hamas is willing, IW. The only group who aren`t are the Israelis, because They Want More. That`s what this struggle is now all about, IW. |
