| Both the author and Dagan have an arrogant "who cares?" attitude toward Mossad operatives who are discovered and then left to their fate. Even when the operative is Jewish, as was Jonathan Pollard, there is a casual air of "They got their money. They took the risk. Who cares?" This, as much as--and along with-- Iran`s death penalty for spies, will no doubt have the effect of deterring would-be recruits for the Mossad. |
