| Music is the greatest gift the Almighty has given mankind. It can lift our spiritis when we are sad, console us when we are grieving, exhilarate us when we are feeling sluggish, fill us with optimism when we doubt, make us fearless when the shadows gather. Wagner was a very great composer who left his fellow man some wonderful, matchless treasures. That Hitler loved his music is irrelevant. Those who seek to ban music of any description are pygmies, barbarians, no better than Nazi book-burners. |
