| His capitulation to anti-democratic forces is well known. His racist views on the Israeli-Palestinian situation are well known. Will Carter call on Hezbollah to disarm and for Iran and Syria to stop meddling in Lebanon and trying to overthrow the Beirut government? I doubt it. Carter, sadly, is not aging well. His overt bias has crippled his ability to come here as an honest broker. Carter looks at the Palestinians with their overt racist policies, ethnic cleansing of Jews and Christians, and dismal human rights record - then he turns around and calls Israel "apartheid". Yet Arabs in Israel have the right to vote, are represented in parliament, and there are no racist apartheid laws. But when Jimmy carter steps into "Palestine", he looks through his foggy glasses and doesn`t see that the Palestinians have kicked out all the Jews, they have apartheid laws in place, and a world record of terrorism and human rights violations. Carter is a stick in the spokes of the peace process. |
