| Although there is an interesting tidbit or two in there. When the US Army War College publishes something, you know it is one of the most exhaustively researched assessments available. One point that this article makes shatters the myth of Hezbollah hiding behind civilians: "Hezbollah emphasized holding territory and digging in to bunkers, instead of the usual tactic of hiding among civilian populations." And the report praised Hezbollah as performing better than any other Arab army in Israel`s history. Pointedly the assessment also "calls for reducing military activity likely to harm the image of the U.S." Image is important when waging war. I wonder how Israel`s supporters feel about these conclusions now? Will you call the war college a bunch of "jew-haters"? |
