| Considering that Israel killed more civillians than it did combatants and we have this report "Hezbollah emphasized holding territory and digging in to bunkers, instead of the usual tactic of hiding among civilian populations." Leaves Israel with egg on its face whilst trying to explain such a large number of civilian casualties. The human shield excuse no longer applies. I think the headline should read "Israeli military must learn lessons of second Lebanon war" Israel lost that war big time. Hezbollah is now stronger then ever, more popular than ever, more confident than ever, its troops now have some solid combat experience and the international view of Israel has taken a beating due to the massive number of civillians it killed. Lesson to be learned. Return the sheeba farms, release all political prisoners and stay out of Lebanon. |
