City of David is a settlement in East Jerusalem in the Palestinian neighborhood of Silwan. No one in the world, apart from Leon, disputes its geography and only our government here disputes its legality. It`s a settlement and there are in fact plans to demolish 88 houses in the same neighborhood, the Bustan, in order to dig more and to build houses for settlers, all, like the houses and archeological dig already there, illegal under international law. It`s shocking how much foreigners apologize for and defend our behavior sometimes, almost as shocking as how much Mr. Shragai ignores the critical context. |
