Hmmm, that`s interesting news. Let`s see what he offers up as a gem of wisdom from his soldiering:

The use of air power alone will not work as shown in the Second Lebanon War that Israel lost due to its over-dependence on the destruction of civilian infrastructure instead of actual militant targets.

Sufficient ground forces must follow an initial air assault and be covered by air support to finish up the job in person, that never happened during the initial phase of the US cheered effort to eliminate Hezbollah.

Everyone but wingnuts are carefully weighing just how costly this necessary step will be for Israel and the Palestinians.

And after those lives are expended and Israel holds the territory, then what?
