I am old enough, (mid-eighties), to remember my parents discussing the "collective punishment" which was imposed on our Jewish relatives who had lived and prospered in Germany before Hitler.
It seems that Barak is borrowing a page from this sick, dimented monster. Some response was required a long time ago when the rockets first began hitting Israel. If Israel had responded with tit-for -tat there would not be any outcry from the nations of the world, as there obviously will be now.
Also, I do not trust Olmert/Barak. I believe their next move will be to bomb Iran before Bush leaves office on Jan. 20th, 2009. God help us and the poor people of Israel and Gaza/West Bank. They will all pay a horrible price, as will we here in the US. |
