| Over the past couple of years there has been a marked change in talkbacks. We plan on exploring that fact. Part of the thrust of the book is to explore the phenomenon of self-imposed ignorance about the Israeli-Arab conflict. There are so many people who post without spending a moment`s time using a search engine to look up background of what they post about, and worse, there are those who are repeatedly given scholarly citations yet still ignore them. And secondly two staffers have been sifting through comments that have been posted as compared to those that do not get posted. We plan to contrast them to show how gaps in the dialogue mimic gaps in diplomatic circles. Those interested in participating directly should contact me. |
