| It always fascinates me to see how some people are able to put a positive spin on the most dire of situations. Israel is methodically setting back Hamas`s military capability by pounding its installations, destroying vast amounts of arms and supplies, sealing tunnels, sending hundreds of operatives toward the waiting celestial virgins, and basically coming back to the proven approach of exacting a disproportionate price for the rockets being fired into Israel. And yet there are those who already see this as an Israeli defeat. What a sad joke. Peace won`t be achieved by this strategy but peace with Hamas is a non-starter anyway. Hamas consistently asks for Israel`s destruction and Israel is simply responding in kind. |
