Hamas got exactly what they dreamed of by initiating hostilities against Israel: The martyrdom of their unfortunate citizenry and a world full of sympathetic outcry from the usual tools like Neil Robertson of Dundee. The fact is that the Palestinians could have had an independent autonomous state decades ago, but that would not have achieved the objective: the continuation of the "struggle." |
