Yes, we ignore their distress and poverty. One Arab-Israeli child in four (yes, 25%) live under the poverty line in Israel, Yes, we may not have a military government over them anymore, but anyone with an Arab countenance in Jerusalem is likely to be stopped and have his identity checked by the border police. |
