| is utterly mistaken. The lessons they learn aren`t the ones we think we teach. If you want to control a population harsh measures & killing can be useful. But if you don`t want to rule---death and destruction can only radicalize those you leave in power. If we want to prevent rocket fire and terrorism and an arms build-up--there is no avoiding GOING IN AND TAKING CONTROL OURSELVES, for as long as it takes--however unpleasant and costly that will be. Let`s stop deluding ourselves |
