| Obama`s ascension to the throne (He might as well be deemed an emperor given his exaltation by the mental midgets of America)was an enormous failure of American democracy (media fanfare and money). As for the Mideast: When he entered national politics, he made pro-Israeli noises. But his roots were alarmingly Arabist: When he ran for Congress in 2000, leading Muslims, including the chairperson of an organization called "the Electronic Intifada," were among his chief supporters. (And this is from the NY Times, not Fox News) And he did worship, for 20 years, in a church whose pastor routinely ranted with Hitlerite hate. Yet so many American Jews gave him their pocketbooks, their votes and their self-respect. |
