A recurring phrase is `Hamas militants`. Unless militants (i.e., those who favour military solutions) either cease being militants, or simply cease being, there can be no peace. I cannot help but wonder whether Israel will regret not finishing the job it has begun in Gaza - to remove Hamas, root and branch. MV
