2 terms of failed US foreign and economic policies under Pres Bush has left the US on the brink of an economic depression and viewed with odium by much of the world for it`s foreign policies. Pres Elect Barack Obama can do no worse and should be given the chance to lead the US out of the present mess. If this means `engaging` the US termed `pariah` states and organisations, so be it. Engagement does not necessarily mean capitulation or appeasement. I firmly believe that the incoming US administration will do things and have a worldview that is a lot smarter than that under the Bush-Cheney banner. I look forward to the new administration.
