| The follow-up to any war is probably the most important stage of all. Here our government is tested politically. The army has proved itself beyond all expectations and achieved amazing results, but now Israel`s leaders are responsible for the long-term results and in gaining the best ceasefire conditions possible, Two of them being ensuring that weapons cannot be smuggled into Gaza and the complete cessation of rocket firing on Isreael. If they don`t achieve these objectives, the army`s incursion will have been in vain. |
