Ah, yes ... our friend Mr Levy. Brought up as a child, as most of us were, on the stories of the Jewish prophets. Most of us eventually grew up, though, realizing that we are not latter day prophets...but, at the root of all Gidi`s tediously boring self-flagellation is the worm of an idea, that crept into his head as a kid, that HE would one day become a prophet himself. Yea, and verily, Gideon Levy shaketh the throne of the King!!!
One small problem, though: he ain`t no prophet, just a schmuck who makes things tougher for Israel to survive in a very nasty local environment, sitting in an even larger world environment populated with ever increasing numbers of antisemites. Gee, thanks, Gidi!
(By the way, Gidi, there are groups that DO help people get cured of Jerusalem syndrome - the belief that YOU are yourself, somehow, "biblical." Please, get cured.) |
