The Palestinians claim over 5,000 wounded. Statistically a certain proportion should have been seriously injured and still be hospitalized. Hospital records should be available to identify and locate those moderately injured since discharged from hospitals, as well as what injuries were suffered. One can then extrapolate from the number of injured, the number likely to have been killed.
I was also surprised by the ratio of children to women that Palestinians claim were killed as it seems far to high to be credible.
