Israelis are pathetically incompetent at diplomacy. Al Jazeerza has served as a great outlet for Israeli officials, Knesset members and others being interviewed by Al Jazeera to put forward an Israeli point of view.
Also, Mr. Abramowitz claims that Qatar is "moving towards a radical axis," but the truth is Qatar is positioning itself as a neutral country in a region where neutrality is rare. In addition to relations with Israel, all Arab countries (including Syria), Qatar also good relations with the United States, Russia and Iran.
Two Things all Israelis should know:
1) Don`t blame the Qataris (or anyone else for that matter) for protesting IDF behavior in Gaza.
2) Don`t blame the Qatari Prime Minister for positioning his country positively within the dynamics of globalization. For after all, the Israelis have always argued that the Arabs are backwards. |
