Haaretz presents the case as if it was a privilege for Qatar to have that kind of relationship with Israel. Survey after survey shows the public in the Arab and the Muslim world almost unanimously reject any relationship with Israel before signing a complete peace treaty that includes the Palestinians. At the moment, Israel is the one that enjoys some relationships with a few dictators in the Muslim and the Arab world. |
