| If Israel becomes a Fascist state, we risk losing the support of the few Western countries, like the United States, who support us. Does anyone really think the US supports Israel because they suddenly started to love Jews? Is anyone delusional enough to think that the Jewish community in the US is large enough to truly force anything? The US supports Israel because it serves American hegemonic interests to support a liberal democracy in the region. We must maintain that liberal democracy, or we are lost. |
