| None of the "moderate" mideast nations is a democracy. They are interested only in preserving their regimes and avoiding rocking the boat. America will have to tread carefully in "strengthing" these regimes because that very act could be seen as a provocation by the Islamic extremists who are the largest threat to these nations. Israel wants to minimize casualties to the IDF, but they don`t mind if young Americans give their lives for Israels "peace of mind". For this reason, Israel will do their best to draw America into a war with Iran, at which point Israel will retire behind their walls and await the outcome. |
