Hezbollah is working hard to prevent Lebanon from becoming a puppet state of America and Israel. There is nothing we hate more than a puppet state. We have many of them and we so want to get rid of them. We`ve got puppet leaders who change the constitution a million times to keep them in power, and the US never talks about democracy and rights when it comes to them. And we`ve got democratically elected officials who are killed, jailed and boycotted (Hamas).
Hezbollah knows very well that Iran will not influence Lebanon that much. The very structure of Lebanon cannot allow some sort of proxy-Iranian-mini-state. And if you know Lebanon well, you`d know this.
