| Israel is rapidly running out of Western friends, and therefore options. The fanatical pursuit of annexing real estate on the basis of old history and religious dogma is counterproductive. It is completely immoral as well, of course. Israel may not suddenly get morals, but at least its survival instinct should kick in and tell it that without Western support it would be wiped out, something I for one would not want to see. A moral Israel, a safe Israel. |
