While their relatives were being bombed into the stone age, some West Bank Palestinians were being suppressed in their attempts at legitimate protest. And the PA security forces were not all that gentle.
To top that, the IDF is still issuing demolition orders for homes and mosques deep inside the West Bank (Nablus) inside Palestinian villages. And the checkpoint regime and closures remain. That makes Abbas and Fatah really popular.
